This site is a resource for gay individuals and their families and friends living with ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s, or other digestive diseases. It is also for those individuals who have had the surgery or are contemplating it and would like a place to get some information. There is a serious lack of information available for gay individuals living with these diseases, and it’s a topic that most people are nervous to bring up to their doctor or in a public forum.

  1. Great idea Michael – looking forward to watching the site grow.

    Wishing you all the best.

  2. Great blog Michael! If I can help, let me know!

  3. I just have to say, thank you for creating such an inspiring site.
I am 28 years old and have lived with my J-pouch for almost 7 years now! My partner and I have been together for 3 years, she is amazingly supportive and has educated herself on all types of Inflammatory Bowel Diseases.
The best of luck to everyone and I look forward to watching this wonderful site grow.

    Boston, Ma

  4. Is this site still active? I’m at a point in my life where I could really use a resource like this.

    • Hi Andy! Yes, this is still active. Unfortunately, I don’t get to post things as often anymore, plus I find that my life has found a normal rhythm and I do not experience differences or changes that I feel I need to discuss as often. I’m always open to talking with others about their issues though!
